On November 21, the 2025 (19th) China Optical Communication Development and Competitiveness Forum (ODC'2025) and The 19th Awards Ceremony of Top 10 Competitiveness Enterprises in the Optical Communications of China & Global Market (2025) were grandly held at the China·Nantong International Conference Center. The ODC Forum was jointly organized by the Optical Communication Committee of the China Institute of Communications and the Asia Pacific Optical Communication Committee, and undertaken by the Asia Pacific Optical Communication Committee and the Network Telecom Information Research Institute, attracting numerous industry experts.
Leaders and experts from research institutes attended the forum and delivered excellent speeches, including Zhang Dechao, Deputy Director of the Basic Network Technology Research Institute of China Mobile Research Institute; Li Fang, Director of the Optical Network Technology and Application Research Department of the Technology and Standards Research Institute of CAICT; Gao Junshi, Senior Manager of the Wired Research Institute of China Mobile Communications Group Design Institute; Yang Chun, Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Wangrui Testing Technology Co., Ltd. Representatives from leading Chinese optical communication enterprises such as Hengtong, Huawei, Zhongtian, Fiberhome, Hi-guide Technology, Accelink, Eoptolink, Wuhan Huagong Zhengyuan, Zhongtian Broadband, as well as representatives from overseas enterprises like Nokia and Fujikura, were also present.
During the forum, the Global|China Top 10 Most Competitive Enterprises in Optical Communication selection activity, jointly organized by the Asia Pacific Optical Communication Committee and the Network Telecom Information Research Institute, released the latest 2025 list.
APC Conference Chairman Mao Qian delivered a work summary for the 2025 selection activity. Gao Feng, Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Optical Communication Committee, Secretary-General of the APC Industry Association, and Editor-in-Chief of Network Telecom All-Media, announced the list and the names of award-winning enterprises, followed by a grand awards ceremony.
